Positive Impact Health Centers Becomes a Georgia Relay Partner

In September 2021, Georgia Relay Outreach Coordinator, Brendan Underwood, completed Georgia Relay Partner training with 45 employees of Positive Impact Health Centers.

For 30 years, Positive Impact Health Centers has provided client-centered care to the HIV community and worked tirelessly to prevent the transmission of HIV throughout the Duluth and Decatur areas of north Georgia as well as the Marietta suburb just outside of the Atlanta city limits. The agency chose to partner with Georgia Relay to make it easier for Relay users to access important information about its services over the phone. Now, as a Georgia Relay Partner, the staff at Positive Impact Health Centers is informed on how to recognize, answer, and place telephone calls using Georgia Relay to converse with patients who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have difficulty speaking.

“I’m happy to announce that Positive Impact Health Centers successfully completed all test calls with me,” shares Brendan Underwood, Outreach Coordinator. “They are now one of our newest Georgia Relay Partners—meaning they are ready to answer and place Relay calls with confidence”.

We are thrilled to add Positive Impact Health Centers to the Georgia Relay Partner Online Business Directory and are excited to continue in our efforts to make Georgia 100% Relay accessible.
